District Rotaract Representative, District 3810

Rotaract Clubs in Manila and Pasay cities of the Philippines’ National Capital Region as well as in the Philippine provinces of Cavite and Occidental Mindoro.

Before its recent structure, the Rotary International District (RID) 3810 was known under a different name, District 380, covering the entire area of Luzon and gave birth to its first Rotaract club in June 23, 1975, the Rotaract Club of UST College of Commerce, under the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of University District Manila.

In the Rotary Year (RY) 1977-1978, RID 380 was first divided creating District 3820 which includes half of Metro Manila (south of Pasig River), Southern Tagalog, Bicol Region, Islands of Mindoro, Palawan and Marinduque. On the same year, the District chartered the District Rotaract Organization or what we now call the Rotaract District Committee (RDC).

By the RY 1985-1986, RID 3820 was further divided into two (2): Districts 3810 and 3820 respectively, where half of Metro Manila (south of Pasig River), Cavite, Palawan and Mindoro Island were placed under District 3810. And in the RY 1999-2000, RID 3810 underwent final re-districting giving birth to the district covering the areas of Makati, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Taguig, Pateros, Palawan and Oriental Mindoro – RID 3830.

Currently, the district has 90 active Rotaract clubs, 9 of which were re/chartered during this RY, 2019-2020. Three (3) of the chartered clubs were from province of Occidental Mindoro (RAC Divine Word College of San Jose, RAC San Jose and RAC Sablayan), while, four (4) clubs were from Manila (RAC Adamson University, RAC ASEANA Manila, RAC JASHS Community Manila and RAC Jose Abad Santos Manila), one (1) club in Pasay (Pasay-Maharlika Kalayaan) and one (1) club from Cavite (RAC Teatro De Salinas).

With approximately 2,700 Rotaractors from the 54 community-based clubs and 36 school-based clubs, RID 3810 is continuously upholding excellence in serving its members and communities where growth and progress are essential and is preparing its family in the elevation of Rotaract.
